DHS Athletics

The Delta High School's Athletic Program has a rich history. Originally operating under the name of Clarksburg High School, the school realigned boundaries and opened up as Delta High School in 1967. The athletic programs of DHS have been shaping the lives of student-athletes from the beginning, and continues to be a fundamental piece of our school culture. From the new friendships formed on the first days of practice to the lifelong bonds that endure throughout the years: Athletics continue to thrive as building blocks for positive relationships between student-athletes, coaches, parents, and fans

Eligible students have the opportunity to be a part of history in the making. DHS offers 9 CIF sanctioned sports and one club. Many of the sports have a JV and a Varsity team. During any one school year about 75% of students participate in athletics, and many of those students are multiple-sport athletes.

We are very proud of our teams, coaches, and programs. We currently belong to the Central Valley California League (CVCL) of the Sac-Joaquin Section. Our teams play in multiple divisions ranging from D5-D7 depending on the sport.

We hope your student will find his/her spot on a team and become a part of the Delta High School legacy!

Go Saints!
